Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards 📝

The Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards (VPLAs) were inaugurated by the Victorian Government in 1985 to honour literary achievement by Australian writers. Administered by The Wheeler Centre, the VPLAs champion excellence across various literary categories, offering $25,000 for category winners and a $100,000 major prize. An Award for an Unpublished Manuscript offers $15,000 and a residency to a Victorian resident.
