I’m Demi Louise, a singer, producer & actor from Sydney, Australia
Biography
As a singer, producer, and actor, Demi has worked both domestically and internationally, building a career across film, theatre, and digital media.
She produced her first short film Émilie & Voltaire, in association with Opera Australia, premiering it in Lucca, Italy, at the Puccini Chamber Opera Festival. It also screened at the Paris Short Film Festival, where it won Best Production Design. Expanding her skillset into videography, she has produced, filmed, and directed music videos and digital media campaigns for performing arts companies in Sydney, including filming and editing theatrical performances for Victoriana! and the Talent Development Project.
Beyond film, Demi has been avidly building a community of artists on Instagram who follow her for her practical tips as a producer, her creative acting/singing work, and her journey as an artist. In 2025, she had a collective reach of over 150,000 accounts and is now growing a following of female-identifying artists.
Demi continues to develop original screen projects, including Scenes & Scores, a series of short cinematic scenes accompanied by original compositions. With a particular passion for period dramas and musicals, she continues creating and performing in stories that explore the intersection of music, theatre and film.
Scenes&
SCORES
Scenes & Scores was an experimental, self-produced Instagram series built on three simple tenets, inspired by Creativity Inc. Each scene was produced by me and features my writing, acting, and singing. The original scores were composed, arranged, and produced by Kailesh Reitmans. The series also features wonderful performances and incredible work by Aysha Galloway, Kalani Guillen, Jasmine Sarkis, and Nathan Niguidula.
This scene was inspired by Louisa May Alcott, and intended to help treasure her novel Little Women. Demi filmed, edited and performed in this piece as the character, Meg.

Émilie &
Voltaire
“Émilie has class, the heart of Voltaire, and a haven far from scandal, but will she lose it all by claiming her place in science?”
Supported by Opera Australia and sponsored by Herbies Spices, the Talent Development Project, Waterloo Studios, City of Melbourne, and Filmsticks.
Émilie & Voltaire was Demi's first short film production, created in association with Opera Australia. As producer, she worked across development, production and post-production, bringing a historical story to the screen through collaboration with artists and cultural organisations.
